Ilina Koralova is an art historian, freelance curator and project manager. She studied at the National Academy of Arts, Sofia and took part in a training course for curators at De Appel in Amsterdam in 2000. Between 2002 and 2009, she worked as a curator at the GfZK Leipzig. In 2007, Koralova was a lecturer at the Institut für Kulturwissenschaften, University of Leipzig. From 2011 to 2013 she was a project manager and programme curator for the international cooperation project Szenarien über Europa (Scenarios of Europe). Koralova was project manager for the German Pavilion at the 56th Biennale Arte di Venezia in 2014. She teaches at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst and is the manager of the Gesellschaft Europas Zukunft, which is based in Leipzig.
During her scholarship at the GfZK , she realised the exhibition Introducing Sites as part of the research project Cultural Territories.
