Accessibility / how to get there

*Tram*
When travelling by tram, please get off at the “Neues Rathaus” stop. Lines 9/2/8/14 run here with low-floor trams. The stop is handicapped accessible.

*Car*
There are plenty of parking spaces on the grounds of the Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst. The distance from these car parks to the new building and the ramp of the old building is approx. 40 metres.

Access to the exhibition spaces
The GfZK has two exhibition centres. An old building and a new building. The entire new building is single-storey and structurally barrier-free and wheelchair users can move around easily. The old building is accessible via a ramp. Within the old building, the ground floor, 1st and 2nd floors and the courtyard can be reached barrier-free via a lift. The door width in the old building is 105 cm.

*Barrier-free WC*
You will find a barrier-free WC (door width 95 cm) on the ground floor of the old building. The cubicles in the remaining toilets are 60 cm wide.
