The Friends of the GfZK association was founded in 1990. Initially it organised projects with local and international artists in the public space. Since 1998, when the GfZK moved into its own exhibition rooms in the villa at Johannapark, the Friends of the GfZK has provided financial support for art acquisitions, exhibitions and publications.
