Mengting Ying studied at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou from 2006 to 2010. She continued her studies from 2014 to 2017 at the Universität der Künste Berlin, where she graduated with a master’s degree. Mengting Ying is the founder and co-editor of the online publication Si Art Magazine. She has been the head of the education department at the Shanghai Himalayas Art Museum in China since 2018.
As part of the scholarship, Mrs. Ying co-curated the exhibitions Chinafrika/under construction and the collection exhibition Pass-Stücke.
