Écran somnambule is a solo performance based on Mary Wigman’s renowned Witch Dance. Latifa Laâbissi plays with slowing down, distorting and stretching movements and transforms the only filmic record of Wigman’s dance, an excerpt which lasts less then 2 minutes into a 32 minutes long choreography.
The performance will be followed by an artist talk.
