We gladly invite you to our next event “Open Mic: Film Screening: I Survived By Chance” by the Syrian filmmaker Orwa Alahmad.
The coincidence that brought together this film director and Muhammad via Facebook in quarantine was the reason for the birth of this film, which sheds light on the casualties of the war in Syria. Muhammad who was planning to specialize in surgery, his dreams turned to another place after Russian bombing of his city.
The film will be screened at Blackbox of Galerie für zeitgenössische Kunst Leipzig.
The first screening of the film is going to be at 7:15 – 8:00 pm. After a short break and upon wish public’s wish, a panel discussion with artist should be held.
The film will be screened for the second time at 9:15 – 10 pm.
