Visibility Room

The Visibility Room is an interactive discourse space in which exclusions and visibilities in society and the cultural sector are considered: Who sees and who is seen? What strategies of expansion can be found and what forms of appropriation can be tested? Who is allowed to tell his/her story and how, and who gets the space for it?

Since April, the participating artists and art mediators have been discussing this field of tension at the GfZK. From July 23rd the project will be presented in the Galerie für Dich. Questions, artistic works and results from the project will be presented in the space. The thoughts and discussion contributions can be linked to own experiences and perspectives in the interactive presentation.
