In the world of Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster many themes are tangled within each other: literal oder cinematic works of authors like Ray Bradbury or Philip K. Dick, the metamorphosis in famous persons like Bob Dylan, Sarah Bernhardt or Edgar Allen Poe, the atmosphere of a hotel room, the planet mars, Marcel Duchamp or her own dreams . . .
During the project Collection 1887-2050 fashion design students worked with the exhibition Martian Dreams Ensemble by Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster and its themes.
Until the end of january experimental collections including a jacket and trousers as well as a textile objekt were developed. Alongside to the sketches the students made a Moodboard which can be seen in the gallery for you.
