In the space of the Library what meanings are at play in, and between, the concepts of Quotation, Appropriation, Replacement, Deception, Copy, Reproduction, Camouflage, Fetish, Fake, Imitation, and Copyright? Inspired by these questions Sebastian Helm, in collaboration with Vera Lauf, have delved into the GfZK library collection and compiled a material collage to accompany the “Magnificent Simulators” installation as presented in the exhibition “Travesty for Advanced Performers: Warte Mal!”.
