The exhibition shows ten artistic positions by artists who, for various reasons, have spent shorter or longer periods of time abroad. They have created works of art inspired by this, either focusing on alien cultures or using the experience to take a more critical view of things that are close to hand. An important aspect is that several of the artists were born and grew up abroad, whilst others were not confronted with foreign cultures until they began travelling.
