Tarek Atoui’s “Tables of Contents” assembles the main elements of Atoui’s sound production work. These include instruments developed in collaboration with others, everyday objects and electronic devices that record and reproduce sound. The activation of this arrangement allows a multitude of interactions to take place between the objects, the musicians and the audience. The direct experience of improvisation and performance plays just as important a role as the gathering of people.
