The Friends of the GfZK were cordially invited to see the current collection exhibition Am Ende diese Arbeit in advance with the curators.
The Leipzig-born photographer Harry Shunk (1924–2006) and his Hungarian partner János Kender (1937–2009) worked together between 1958 and 1973, first in Paris and later in New York. Commissioned by artists, galleries, publishers and museums they documented emerging forms of art and seminal exhibitions of the time.
