Sachsen LB has been collecting contemporary art since the beginning of its existence. In many offices and many a corridor, one can see parts of this collection, which has a deliberately Saxon focus. The architecture of Sachsen LB with its relatively narrow corridors is not always suitable for the presentation of art and of course not planned as such. We have recreated the bank’s corridor 1:1 in the GfZK. These so-called corridors show a model attempt to deal with the in-house collection on site. The reconstructed corridor forms the presentation space for this. As a place of communication, it is also a representative of the cooperation between the two institutions and connects internal and external interests. The simulated presentation of the collection in the corridor makes it possible to reflect on the relationship between curating – company – art.
