Just like other living things, birds sometimes do not recognize natural or man-made obstacles in their flight space or misinterpret them or fail to avoid them and collide with them. The associative range of bird strike phenomena forms the starting point for Katharina Immekus’ exhibition. Here exhilaration resonates as well as an unexpected failure.
