Michael Morgner used to be one of the most influential members of the Clara Mosch, a group of artist in the formerly GDR. The association was well known for its experimental and contradic-tory character since the early 70s. His authentic and independent oeuvre is focusing on human grief. In the nineties Morgner has found a new media and means of expression in sculpture. Some of his plastic works will be on display besides his graphic opus.
An all comprehensive register of his oeuvre will be published, with texts by Dr. Beloubek, Henry Meyric Hughes and Prof. Dr. Reinhold Heller.
