The Bauhaus Dessau Foundation and the Museum of Contemporary Art Leipzig (GfZK) are looking for collectively working artists for the Bauhaus Residency 2021 though an open call.
Application deadline is 30 October 2020.
The focus of the Bauhaus Residency Programme is on the Masters’ Houses (Meisterhäuser), which not only recall the past, but are still the starting point for contemporary debates and positions. New ideas, experiments and works developed during the Residency are accessible to the public through presentations, studio visits, discussions, concerts and much more.
The Bauhaus Residency Programme is aimed at international artists whose work relates to the historical disciplines represented at the Bauhaus and the later developments of these core disciplines – including painting, product design, textile design, music, theatre, performance, architecture and photography.
